Welcome to our New District Superintendent!

The Prairie District Board is pleased to announce that the search for a new district superintendent has resulted in a call to Trevor and Bonita Brawdy, following the vote at our recent Annual General Meeting in October. Trevor began his new role on January 1, 2022 with a combination of working from his home in British Columbia, the district office in Alberta, and visiting district churches throughout Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan. By July 2022 he expects to be settled with his family in Alberta and working at the district office.

The Prairie District has served Saskatchewan and Southern Alberta for many decades, first under the EFC of America, and for the past 35 years as part of the EFC of Canada. The district currently includes 35 churches located in rural and urban environments, with worship services ranging from 10 people to over 1,500 congregants.

The Prairie District purpose is to nurture the establishment and health of Evangelical Free churches in Saskatchewan and Southern Alberta. The mission of the Prairie District is to fulfill its purpose by cultivating authentic relationships, discerning healthy direction, and resourcing churches and leaders. The Prairie District’s vision is to see a healthy, gospel-sharing church reaching every community in our district.
